Easter is a time of rebirth and new life. Plants that look dead during the winter suddenly regain their strength and come to life again. Insects and bees that were nowhere to be found in December suddenly start flying around in April. Children who were more or less housebound over the holidays, except for a few snowball fights here and there, start coming out of their homes eager to ride their bikes and to explore nature and the resurgence of outdoor life. Easter is indeed a time of rebirth and new life--but not simply because it signifies a change in seasons. It's a time of rebirth and new life because it signifies the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
In this collection of holiday sermons, Pastor Ronald H. Gann looks at the accounts of Christmas and Easter and expounds upon what each holiday means to those who have put their trust in Jesus Christ.
