Dr. Derek Thomas

Derek W.H. Thomas, a native of Wales, is the Senior Minister at First Presbyterian Church (ARP) in Columbia, South Carolina. He is also a Chancellor’s Professor at Reformed Theological Seminary and a Teaching Fellow with Ligonier Ministries. 

He his wife, Rosemary, have two grown children and two grandchildren.

Dr. Thomas last visited Briarwood as the keynote speaker for the 

2019 National Ministries Conference.
