The book of Jonah has surprised us over and over again. As we step into the final act of this great drama, it does so once again.
This time we will see the runaway prophet turned reluctant preacher give himself over to anger at God because God dared to act in a manner consistent with who He has declared Himself to be. The question for us is this - have you ever found yourself angry with God or questioning His goodness, faithfulness, power, or love of God when life took an unexpected or painful turn? Many have.
The unquestioned goodness of God is often one of the first things to be called into question when life takes an unexpected turn.
