In Galatians 6:1-4, Paul shares that inside the local church we should have each other's six. Meaning, we need to help others carry the burdens of life when we see others drowning in the darkness of life.

What is the motivation for our obedience to God? Is it fear... or love? Every time we operate out of fear we FALL SHORT. Galatians 5:1-15 helps us find freedom to love God as our motivation for obedience. Why? Because "you will never learn to trust God until you stop trusting in yourself."

Paul concludes Galatians chapter 4 by retelling a familiar Old Testament story - Abraham's 2 sons. One represented the bondage of the Law and the other represented the sweet promise of Jesus. What do we inherit as children of God?

Paul said that the churches in Galatia once were enslaved to demons via PAGANISM, but feared they were now becoming enslaved to demons once again via RELIGIOUS PRACTICES. Could Satan be more prevalent in churches across America than Jesus?

The Apostle Paul knew how confused, frustrated, non-fulfilling and hurt we can get when we add "something" to Jesus. This message in Galatians 3:15-22 speaks on the covenant or promise God gave to Abraham 430 years before the Law was given. Paul's conclusion is that justification by faith alone has always been God's method.

In the 1st century church - the Jewish Christians felt they had a "moral advantage" over the Gentiles because they were God's chosen people. Paul shares that no one is justified because of DNA but by accepting Jesus alone for salvation. Why? Because the love of God is not based on what YOU DO but what HE DID.

The Gospel breaks RACIAL TENSION & SEGREGATION. If it doesn't it is because we are still harboring sin. This morning Paul confronts segregation and favoritism in the 1st century church between the Jews and Gentiles. If anyone should lead the way in racial acceptance and unity it is Christians.

In Galatians 2, Paul stresses the freedoms we have in Christ verses religious bondage. Paul didn't allow the Galatian believers to be enslaved with Jewish customs that did not pertain to faith in Jesus. This message answers the following question. What is the difference between negotiable issues and non negotiable issues of the faith?
