Gratitude is more than an attitude that covers or distracts from our wounds. It is a form of worship that helps us experience God’s heart. The joy of the Lord is our strength and gratitude is a means of healing those wounds and receiving His strength.
ACTION STEPS
1) Choose a worship song or playlist you love, and listen to it periodically throughout the day.
2) Write out a Gratitude prayer to the Lord for each item on your list from yesterday's action step.
3) The Israelites were told to stack stones to remember all that God had done for them as they crossed into the Promised Land. Turn the items on your list into "rocks." Something physical to help remind you of each blessing He provides along your journey.
