The authentic Moment of Truth is when it’s all good one minute and then all of a sudden it’s not. In those moments of unexpected challenges what rises up within you? Does it speak to who God is? It is in those unexpected moments when what is genuinely ruling or lying dormant within us is uncovered. God loves us so much that HE uses these teaching moments to:
1. Show us Himself
2. Teach us about ourselves
3. Condition us for what God has promised

In order for God to pull the best out of us we must surrender to God pulling the mess out of us and that requires us to own our Moment of Truth.

God is For Us

Doubt, frustration and discontent often time cause us to allow our current state and life challenges to dictate our understanding of God's purpose for us. We question whether God loves us based on what we are going through, dealing with or in the midst of. Paul transitions from his comparison between living under the influence of the Spirit and living directed by our flesh to the infallible promise of God's protection, provision and expected end for all who love Him. God's love was evidenced by His willing sacrifice of His only son who became the bridge for us to live a restored relationship with God. We are all invited to share in that relationship with God through Christ and know beyond a shadow of a doubt that our past can't hurt us, our present circumstances can't hinder us and our future is determined because of Christ's love for us. We may struggle with circumstances beyond our control or enemies all around but this does not negate the fact that all things will work together for our good because God is for us.
