Davene Smith (@whereisdivine) is the founder and CEO of Destination Praise (@destinationpraise), a luxury, service, and adventure-based Christian group travel company. Destination Praise is dedicated to serving men and women of faith who desire to deepen their love for Christ, travel the world, and connect with a community of like-minded individuals.

She hails from the beautiful island of Jamaica, is the eldest of 4, holds a BSc in Counseling Psychology, and is a recent MBA graduate. Davene discovered her passion for adventure and her love for God simultaneously through hikes and nature walks with her dad. On these little adventures, her father would tell her the exciting stories from the Old Testament. And this time spent in nature, allowing her imagination, of an all powerful God to run wild, shaped her character and gave her purpose.

Since then, she has traveled to almost 20 countries and has experienced exponential personal and spiritual growth. Through Destination Praise (DPR), Davene hopes to expose Christian young adults to:
A God from whom they may feel estranged and His epic purpose for their lives,
The most breathtaking views around the globe and,
A community of young believers with whom they can hold hands and hearts and walk through this life.
