Leonard prayer letter:

Dear Praying Friends,

After the last few busy months, we slowed back down to our normal schedule in March. We spent out time doing spring cleaning and general maintenance around the church building in anticipation of the upcoming Resurrection Celebration. We were excited to see a great turnout for our Friday morning and Resurrection Sunday services!

In April, both Amanda and I were asked to speak at the monthly Bible and Breakfast. I was able to bring a short devotional on self-disciple in our Christian life. I pray it was as much of an encouragement for the men present as it was for me. Amanda spoke to the ladies on the attitude of our Christian service. She was also able to head up an enjoyable craft time with the ladies. As always we enjoyed this uplifting time of food and fellowship as a church family.

Later in the month, Brother Harmon felt led to seek to the church on the matter of baptism. After the service two ladies approached him about their need to follow the Lord in Beleiver's baptism. The next Sunday I had the privilege of baptizing these two ladies! One of the ladies' husband also joined the church that Sunday! IT's encouraging to see new growth in ministry here at Maranatha!

In May, I will have the opportunity to accompany Brother Alan Brooks to Papua New Guinea. Brother Brooks heads up the Papua New Guinea Bible Project with BIMI. On this trip I will be helping him with some of the logistics for the Bible distribution. Our family was able to travel to the States a the end of April to visit with family and prepare for this trip.

During our time home I was also able to preach at our home church, Edgewood Baptist Church, in Trenton, Georgia. It was a joy to be with our home church family and fellowship with our pastor, Jim Lilley, and his wife!

Please be in prayer for me as I will be in Papua New Guinea for three weeks in May. Also be in prayer for the rest of the family as they will stay in Georgia with family.

Thank you for your continued support and prayers for our family!

In prayer for Puerto Rico,
