Baggett prayer letter:
Dear Praying Friends,
It is our joy to be able to report of God's goodness in our lives!
We have had an incredibly busy spring season of meetings and conferences. It has been our joy to present the Good News of salvation both in personal conversation and in public-speaking. We have travelled to churches that are new to us in various states and have presented the ministry of reaching our servicemen and women with the Gospel. Many are simply ignorant of the need and the opportunity to meet the need of our Armed Forces. We are privileged to be able to communicate it to people with a desire to get involved.
In one church where we spoke, a high school senior talked with Bryan about his desire to give his life to serve unmilitary missions. It is so exciting to see how the Lord is calling young people into a life of service for Him!
Our time in Japan was fantastic. It was incredible to see the 72 attendees a the single and Unaccompanied lunch on Sunday afternoon at Maranatha Baptist Church in Okinawa. Bryan had the opportunity to speak with five servicemen one on one about their eternity. After he preached to them in the morning service, it was great to have the opportunity to follow up with each of them.
As is often the case in the military world, we were also able to make a connection with a young Marine whose North Carolina pastor we knew from 25 years ago. He thanked us for being a "visit from home" for him on a day that he really needed it. God is gracious in allowing us to be a channel of His grace and love to these personnel. Your prayers and giving make it possible for us to be in these places - right on time. Thank you.
