As Christians, we believe that the Bible is the Word of God, given to us by God so that we can know Him and know how to be saved. But where did this book actually come from? Is it reasonable to believe that God's words from so long ago have been reliably passed down over thousands of years? Who decided what books it would contain, and why? And what do I make of there being so many translations of the Bible into English?

In this 11-week Blocks Class beginning October 6th, we will look to the Bible and to history to understand how God gave us His Word and how He preserved it for us. Classes will consist of videos, lectures, and class discussions, with recommended Bible readings throughout the week. Anyone of any age with an interest in this subject is welcome, whether believer or skeptic.
