Exodus 14 is an excellent picture of the Gospel, that we're more stuck than we realize and only the Lord can save us. But it points to more than a picture, it points to Jesus and the gospel that has the power to transform us from the inside out.
As God renews His covenant with the Israelites after the worship of the golden calf, He provides a very clear path forward. This path would be would be marked with a clear trust and devotion to Yahweh as their one and only God.
