As elect exiles on earth we are commanded to live now for our heavenly home with a living hope in Jesus Christ.
Jesus, the Chief Shepherd, ordains undershepherds to shepherd the flock. They are to do this through feeding, leading, and protecting them.
As Christians, when we suffer, we have the opportunity to "glorify God in that name." This means Biblical lamenting to the Lord.
