Baptism And Communion

March 3, 2024 • Fred Wright

We celebrate both Baptism, a profession of ones faith in emersion of water, and Communion, the Lord's Supper. These ordinances of the church symbolize the faith and obedience of the people of God. Baptism is not required for salvation; we are saved by faith in Jesus Christ alone. Communion unlike baptism is to be observed repeatedly throughout our christian life. Communion is the bread and cup which we remember his body was given for us and his blood was shed for us. His death has purchased forgiveness of sins for us when we believe Jesus is the savior of the world.
