The church is one body made up of many members from various backgrounds united by one Spirit.

Diversity (14-20)

Many kinds of members.

Set in place by God as he chooses.

One body: a uni-body.

Interdependency (21-26)

Members need one another.

Interdependency means responsibility which creates accountability.

You All Are the Body | 27-31

Individual members make one body.

Individual members must see the bigger picture.

How do we see the Glory of God and of the Son in the Lazarus narrative and in our suffering? See Jesus’ love for the Father. You can trust Jesus without hesitation or reservation. See Jesus’ love for us. The one who laid down his life for you will never turn his back on you. See Jesus’ authority over death. Jesus’ authority comforts us in our grief and renews our confidence in our resurrection. How do we respond to the glory of God and of the Son in the Lazarus narrative and in our suffering?
