Sanctification
March 18, 2018 • Pastor Jamey Stuart
The purpose of life is that we be transformed into the image of Christ. This happens in many different ways as we read the bible, as the Holy Spirit leads us and convicts us and...through problems, pain and loss. So, when we experience loss, we need to embrace it as part of the process that God will use to transform me. Remember, God's plan is good. As you go through the problems and pain, praise God. And then, as hard as it might be, don't give up.
Surrender

Let's take a look at the story of King David losing his son and the process that he went through to eventually find peace. He surrendered, finally. Surrender is accepting what cannot be changed. But it's also remembering that it's not the end of the story. There IS more life after loss.
Struggle
March 4, 2018 • Pastor Mark Kent
Part of loss is wrestling with God over the loss. Many people leave God after a loss, but God invites us to struggle with him in our loss. You do this by telling God what you think is unfair, appealing to God's nature, Reminding God of His promises and then expressing my trust in God.

life is hard and we will all face loss and difficulties in our lives. We live in a very broken world and everything is impacted by this brokenness. Even though this is true, God is still good and He can bring us through this place of loss to be better and stronger for His glory!
