Today we will be looking at an example of faith and obedience from the life of Joshua. As the book of Joshua opens, we see that he has been designated as the new leader of the people of Israel and has been given the responsibility to lead the people to finally take possession of the promised land. Today our mission is different that Joshua’s mission, but the same principles of faith in God’s powerful presence and obedience to God’s Word are important for us today.

The Armor of God

For the next two weeks, we'll be talking about the importance of the Christian being ready. The Lord tells us that the "day of evil" is on the horizon. That phrase has both a current and future look because our enemy is alive and well right now, and he hates believers! We'll specifically look at the armor of God found in the book of Ephesians.
