Support Structures: Lean On These

March 3, 2024 • Aaron Hixson • Luke 5:15–16

If you were to go into the basement of whatever building you live in, you'd find a combination of wood, block and steel that work together to keep the building you're in stable and secure. This support structure is carefully designed to withstand the various pressures that threaten to bring structures down - our lives are not that much different! We're held together by various support structures (given to us by God) to enable us to withstand the pressures of life. On Sunday, we'll look at how Jesus leveraged and maintained those systems for a life of service to His Father.

Support Structures

March 10, 2024 • Greg St. Cyr • Luke 8:1–3

All of us who have traveled in a group know of the challenges. It’s like herding cats…from getting everyone together on time, to bathroom breaks, to decisions of where and when to eat…ugh! Did it ever occur to you that Jesus traveled with a group as He ministered? Most don’t realize that His travel companions were made up of men AND women. As a matter of fact, the women mentioned in this Sunday’s passage experienced God’s grace in such a powerful way that their devotion to Jesus was unprecedented. Join us this Sunday as we look at the support structure God used to enable Jesus to handle the pressures of ministry.
