Just because we might be recognized as a leader, it doesn't mean we're in charge. When we hear the word "leader" we might think of someone who gives orders or instructions, but leading is so much more! Leading is all about serving others and showing up. It's leading by example. It's doing the dirty work you're asking others to do as well. It's counterintuitive and costly. Jesus came to the earth not to rule over others, but to serve others and teach them with patience. Are we allowing Jesus to mold us into an honorable leader?

"But it is not this way among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant; and whoever wishes to be first among you shall be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."
Mark 10: 43-45
