This event is an excellent opportunity to engage with educators who provide alternative educational resources and hear from influential educational advocates such as Rebecca Friedrichs, Karen England, Bill Federer, and Hutz Hertzberg from Turning Point Academy. Best of all, this event is FREE and open to ALL, making it an invaluable opportunity to learn about the future of education for your family.
The attendees will find themselves inspired to engage meaningfully in the ongoing discourse surrounding education. The summit promises an invaluable opportunity to learn how passion can translate into impactful action, especially with champions like Dr. Lisa Dunne and Scott and Mary York of STOA leading the charge in founding innovative educational institutions.
Local Christian leaders, particularly Pastor Adam Riojas and his wife Cleta, embody resilience in advocating for religious freedom, even in the face of adversity. Their creation of alternative educational centers empowers families to liberate themselves from the confines of traditional public schooling.
The summit will also spotlight exemplary activists like Nicole Watson from Fearless & Free, Ruben Luna, a Fine Art and Graphic Design educator, and Lieni Makihele, a youth worship director devoted to fostering future Christian leaders. Workshops led by educators Jennifer Burn and Scott Polender from Turning Point Academy will offer actionable insights into establishing 5C private Christian schools and navigating the homeschooling journey. Breakout sessions hosted by Marie Hyepock and Madison Miner from Protect Our Kids will delve into essential topics like biblical parenting and the fight against indoctrination.

Join us from 2 PM to 7 PM for an exclusive meeting with national top educators and educational advocates. This session will include an inclusive discussion, and a Q&A focused on navigating the challenges posed by ideologies in the public school system. You will have the chance to meet distinguished educators from private Christian schools and explore how to create trusted educational resources. Additionally, we will feature various well-known organizations dedicated to child rescue missions and local ministries that prioritize protecting our children—the future generations. This is an evening you won’t want to miss!
**Saturday, May 3: **
A full day of knowledge awaits! The educational exhibits will kick off at 9 AM, followed by main stage talks starting at 10 AM. Our keynote speakers will present from 11 AM to 6 PM. Please note that space is limited; while admission is free, we highly recommend reserving your seat for just $20. Only 20 reserved seats are available, after which remaining seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
For families attending with children aged 5-12, we offer childcare services (Saturday ONLY) for $50 for the first child, with additional siblings costing just $10 each. We kindly request that you bring snacks and lunch for the kids or be prepared to step out during lunchtime. Please keep in mind that some content presented may not be suitable for younger audiences; however, we will provide drop-in care during the speaker sessions. If you prefer not to use the childcare option, feel free to take breaks with your children in the designated children's area.
While the event is free, we welcome any donations as Education Summit Supporters. Your contributions are tax-deductible and will directly support our mission to provide quality educational experiences.
