"The One" + Me

October 30, 2016 • Tyler Gorsline

Marriage. An incredible hope and source of pain. A union we experience with God (as his bride, the Church), with each other, sometimes lose, and many hope to have one day. A bond that we witness or don't while growing up and aren't sure about its power. In the midst of it all, a love song about Jesus in Philippians 2 invites us to understand the power of marriage. How like on our wedding day, Jesus invites us to "clothe" ourselves with His redemption in our love for God, our marriages, and our future spouses. A love that heals us from the pain of broken marriages as well.

Sexuality + Me

October 23, 2016 • Tim Gaydos

"Could Be" + Me

October 16, 2016 • Tyler Gorsline

Dating is a crazy thing. The Bible doesn't talk about it, yet Christian culture has a lot to say about it. Most of us desire a relationship with someone, yet our culture has tons of ideas about how that should look. How do you find the person who "could be" the one? What does God desire for us in that search? Could God care more about who we are becoming than who we find? Dive into these questions with Tyler Gorsline as we look at part 1 of a 2 week focus on dating in our "You + Me" series on finding love and healing wounds in relationships.

Friends + Me

October 9, 2016 • Tim Gaydos

We weren’t designed to live life alone. We were created for friendships. In fact, Jesus saw the world through the lens of being a friend to us. In a culture where friendship can often be the first thing to go, how do we forge meaningful friendships and be the kind of friend we were meant to be?

Us + Me (Family)

October 2, 2016 • Tyler Gorsline

It is inescapable. We all came from somewhere. Even if you don't know the people that brought you into this world, looking in the mirror is a reminder that they existed and that there is no way you exist without them. This is often a hard thing for us to make sense of. Family can be a place of incredible safety and assurance, or the place of our deepest wounding. We inherit, are imprinted by, incorporate their way of being, and inflame our world as a result of their impact and our response to it. Fortunately, Jesus has adopted us into his family and sends us out to be family for those who are orphans, and sometimes even back into our family to be a place of healing and restoration.

Jesus, The Other Me, + Me (God)

September 25, 2016 • Tim Gaydos

Who are you? Who were you made to be? We spend most of our lives building the false self, which in turn, impacts negatively our relationship with God and others. God desires us to live into the “true you” and see your relationships flourish. In the kick-off to the “You + Me” series, listen in as we turn to Scripture and God’s teaching on finding the true you.
