With Paul’s absence from the Assembly at Corinth, false apostles raise questions about Paul’s authority and truthfulness of the Gospel he taught. Paul writes to the Assembly at Corinth with a harsh tone warning them of how he intends to back up the tone of the letter in person.

It’s ironic that the people of Corinth decided to stand against the very one responsible for teaching them the faith. In Assemblies and Churches today, there are challenges to the authority of Father’s vessels as it was with Paul in his day.

The Kingdom of YeHoVaH is a reward for those who hearken to and seek Him and His ways. Religion has infiltrated “The Way” and caused many to go astray, all the while thinking that they have the proper relationship with YeHoVaH. The truth has found some and many reject the truth. As Ambassadors for the Kingdom, we often prioritize family and friends and attempt to make them disciples, only to be rejected, when there are other individuals willing to receive. Ultimately, we must be okay with understanding, everyone will not make it in.

Family Matters

When Satan’s schemes fail in a direct attack on a Believer, he usually resorts to the closest to them - an attack through their family. Through Yeshua’s responses, we should understand how to view and deal with our families. For many, a difficult choice to make is whether to appease our family or be obedient to YeHoVaH’s Laws and Commandments. Which one will you choose?
