Jesus spoke in parables to provide us with snapshots of everyday life that illustrate the truths about God’s kingdom. Week 1 was based on Matthew 7:24-27 and the parable of the man who builds his house on the rock. Building our house on the rock of Christ is based on obedience to Jesus and His Kingdom.
