Giving is built on the invitation to put your trust in God and to know that he is good.We have been wholly changed by Jesus Christ, the son of God, and we are given the Holy Spirit to continue on the work of Jesus and make us more like him. Living in God’s kingdom, means seeing the world (and all of it’s contents) through his eyes. Money Part 1 - What does God want from me?
January 10, 2016 • Bert Alcorn
Because of our changed identity in Jesus, our entire worldview shifts, including how we use, handle and view money. God speaks frequently about money in the bible because it's often an area of great reluctance and lack of transparency. God wants us to view money the way he sees money; not because he needs more of it, but because everything is the Lord’s. When our worldview shifts, we discover that God, more than anything else, wants our worship, devotion, and our heart.
