I just want to wish you a very blessed and precious Easter and to say to you that Easter is probably the favourite time of the year for my family and I. Actually, the most important day for me is Easter Friday.

You might say, ”But Angus, surely it’s Easter Sunday, Resurrection Sunday.” I really want to be honest with you, without the crucifixion there can be no resurrection. Jesus Christ died for my sins and for your sins on Good Friday. He hung on the cross for six hours and He took all our sin.

I want to encourage you to spend some good time, quality time and quantity time on contemplating what Jesus did for you and me.

He paid a tremendous price for our sin and because He died for our sins, we will have eternal life.

The miracle

Matthew 28:6

The greatest miracle that ever happened was when Jesus Christ came out of the grave after three days, when He rose as He said He would. Matthew 28:6. His tomb was empty. It is miraculous. Maybe today, you need a miracle in your life.

Comfort His people

Isaiah 40:1

Isaiah 40:1. Jesus wants us to comfort those who are hurting. To comfort people we can't just quote scriptures to them and preach to them, we need to give them time, spend time with them because their hearts are broken. They are morning a lost one. Love them and weep with them.

Forgive

If Jesus Christ Who died on the cross for us says that we must forgive, then surely we must forgive others. We must not have anything in our hearts that will block our relationship with God. We need to exercise grace, undeserved favour, as God has done with us.
