Angus tells us a sad but victorious true story about a soldier that took place in the 1940's.
John 15:13 says, "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends." This is the ultimate. Jesus Christ loves you so much, that He gave His life for you.

Comfort His people

Isaiah 40:1

Isaiah 40:1. Jesus wants us to comfort those who are hurting. To comfort people we can't just quote scriptures to them and preach to them, we need to give them time, spend time with them because their hearts are broken. They are morning a lost one. Love them and weep with them.

Forgive

If Jesus Christ Who died on the cross for us says that we must forgive, then surely we must forgive others. We must not have anything in our hearts that will block our relationship with God. We need to exercise grace, undeserved favour, as God has done with us.

Born again

John 3:3–4, John 3:7

John 3:3-4, 7. Unless a person is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God. This means that our lives need to change based on a decision we make to believe in and follow Jesus. It is a 180 degree turn in the opposite direction from where we were going. There needs to be change.
