Angus reminds us that if there was one man in the bible who had a reason to be bitter it was Job. He was a very wealthy and prosperous man and he lost everything but despite that, he refused to give up his belief in God. When you are going through tough and testing times, don’t allow bitterness to creep into your life but rather press into the Lord and He will bless you.

Hebrews 13:8. There is nothing more powerful than a personal testimony. Acts 6:10, 15. Steven became the first martyr as he testified about the power of God. People are not interested in what we have to say, they are interested in what He, Jesus Christ, the Word of God has to say. Colossians 1:27. When they looked at Stephen they they thought that they were looking at an angel, because they could see Christ in him. When Jesus speaks, we need to listen up.
Confession
1 John 1:9, Psalm 32:5
We need to understand that if we belong to Jesus then we are of those people who say sorry if we have done something wrong. God is not looking for good people, but for godly people. Psalm 32:5. 1 John 1:9. God has given us a way out. There is immense power and freedom in saying sorry. The devil doesn't want us to confess our sins because it sets us free.
