Romans 1:17 says that the just will live by faith which means that when we give our life to Jesus and put our faith in Him, we should trust Him to take care of us in every area of our life. Without faith we cannot please God. We need to recognise that with God we can achieve mighty things, so trust him always.

Hebrews 13:8. There is nothing more powerful than a personal testimony. Acts 6:10, 15. Steven became the first martyr as he testified about the power of God. People are not interested in what we have to say, they are interested in what He, Jesus Christ, the Word of God has to say. Colossians 1:27. When they looked at Stephen they they thought that they were looking at an angel, because they could see Christ in him. When Jesus speaks, we need to listen up.
Confession
1 John 1:9, Psalm 32:5
We need to understand that if we belong to Jesus then we are of those people who say sorry if we have done something wrong. God is not looking for good people, but for godly people. Psalm 32:5. 1 John 1:9. God has given us a way out. There is immense power and freedom in saying sorry. The devil doesn't want us to confess our sins because it sets us free.
