The Rain Maker

Episode 1527

“The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much”, James 5:16.
A fire had been burning from horizon to horizon in the drought ridden area of the northern Cape and the local community asked Angus to come and pray for them.
Kneeling in the dust they fervently prayed and asked God to bring the rain because only He could save them.

Forgive

If Jesus Christ Who died on the cross for us says that we must forgive, then surely we must forgive others. We must not have anything in our hearts that will block our relationship with God. We need to exercise grace, undeserved favour, as God has done with us.

Born again

John 3:3–4, John 3:7

John 3:3-4, 7. Unless a person is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God. This means that our lives need to change based on a decision we make to believe in and follow Jesus. It is a 180 degree turn in the opposite direction from where we were going. There needs to be change.

The Time Keeper

Isaiah 38:5, Isaiah 38:8

The Lord is the ultimate Time Keeper. Isaiah 38:5, 8. God gave king Hezekiah an extra fifteen years of life. God also caused time to go backwards by ten degrees on the sun dial. He is the God of the impossible, the Miracle worker. We cannot limit God.
