When you were a little child your father and mother were everything to you. A hero, a protector, a comforter and a provider until the day when you met Jesus for yourself. Children look up to you and model themselves on you and you need to be very careful not to break that trust that they have in you. Jesus is our Helper, our Saviour and our Protector. Put you trust in Him because He will never let you down. He is the same yesterday, today and forever!

Hebrews 13:8. There is nothing more powerful than a personal testimony. Acts 6:10, 15. Steven became the first martyr as he testified about the power of God. People are not interested in what we have to say, they are interested in what He, Jesus Christ, the Word of God has to say. Colossians 1:27. When they looked at Stephen they they thought that they were looking at an angel, because they could see Christ in him. When Jesus speaks, we need to listen up.
Confession
1 John 1:9, Psalm 32:5
We need to understand that if we belong to Jesus then we are of those people who say sorry if we have done something wrong. God is not looking for good people, but for godly people. Psalm 32:5. 1 John 1:9. God has given us a way out. There is immense power and freedom in saying sorry. The devil doesn't want us to confess our sins because it sets us free.
