Seeing a mother hen with her little chicks is quite amazing, she is so proud and protective of them. Jesus spoke of this in Matthew 23:27. God wants to gather us and protect us but we need to start listening to Him. We say we love Him but are we still doing our own thing? We have to allow the Lord to protect us.

Isaiah 40:1. Jesus wants us to comfort those who are hurting. To comfort people we can't just quote scriptures to them and preach to them, we need to give them time, spend time with them because their hearts are broken. They are morning a lost one. Love them and weep with them.

John 3:3-4, 7. Unless a person is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God. This means that our lives need to change based on a decision we make to believe in and follow Jesus. It is a 180 degree turn in the opposite direction from where we were going. There needs to be change.
