What If We Front-Loaded the Gospel with Love and Grace?

February 13, 2024 • Andrew Farley

We all want to grow but may find ourselves unsure of where to start. The popular approach revolves around a performance-based, carrot-and-stick mindset. We’re told to follow a checklist of activities, die to self, strive to hunger and thirst for more of God, and keep short accounts with Him along the way. It can feel like an impossible cycle of trying to get closer to God. But here’s the good news: We can continue in Christ just as we got started in Him. And God has already given us everything we need to move forward. No waiting, no begging, no pleading, no hungering, no thirsting – we’re complete in Jesus! Don’t miss this short clip that’ll revolutionize your perspective on “discipleship.” You’ll discover the joy and freedom of allowing the life of Christ to flow through you!

If We Were Already Dead, What Died at Salvation?

February 1, 2024 • Andrew Farley

Part of the great news of the Gospel is that believers in Christ have moved from death to life. We are now dead to sin and alive to God! But this can lead to some interesting questions: • If we were spiritually dead as a lost person, what part of us died at salvation? • If we died, how are we alive now? • Do we have a human spirit that is distinct from God’s Spirit? In this short broadcast clip, I share the incredible realities of what happened to your spirit (and nature) at salvation and how receiving the Holy Spirit fundamentally transformed your relationship to the Law and religious rules. Grasping these truths can open up a whole new way of living, so check it out and discover how life in Christ brings freedom – including freedom from sin!

Are you grappling with major decisions and feeling uncertain about what God wants you to do? I recently had a caller who shared her fear of following her desires and sought guidance on discerning God’s will. In this must-watch video clip, I challenge these unhealthy views of God’s guidance. You’ll discover the liberating truth about how God actually works, causing you to want and to do of His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13)!

Are you ready to challenge conventional beliefs about your nature as a Christian? It’s time to dive deep into the provocative question of whether you’re truly good. “Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone.” This statement by Jesus in Mark 10 has been used to tell believers they’re bad, not good. But is that really what Jesus meant? In this short video clip, I unpack why it’s absolute nonsense to say Christians are still bad after being born again. The truth of the Gospel is far more inspiring and liberating than you may have ever imagined. Watch the video clip now and uncover the shocking truth from Scripture about your nature as a believer. It will help you embrace and celebrate that you’re unequivocally good!

Starting Faith Conversations with Loved Ones

December 7, 2023 • Andrew Farley

It can be disheartening when our friends or family members distance themselves from the message of God’s grace, showing no interest in discussing matters of faith with us. So, how can we approach this sensitive subject with love and care? And how can we express our heartfelt desire for their well-being through understanding the whole Gospel message? I recently shared a series of thought-provoking questions designed to facilitate conversations about God’s grace. The Gospel is undeniably great news, and it’s supposed to be fun to talk about it! I believe you’ll find this video clip encouraging and insightful. And feel free to share it with others who may benefit as well.

Why Is There Hostility toward God’s Grace?

November 14, 2023 • Andrew Farley

The message of God’s grace can sound radically different from anything Christians have heard in popular religion. God’s grace challenges what many believers have been taught regarding forgiveness. One Sunday, you hear that God remembers your sins no more. The next week, you’re told to confess your sins to receive forgiveness from God. So, which is it? Has God taken away your sins forever, or do you need to ask Him to do it daily? Or maybe you’re taught that grace and forgiveness are merely topics to be balanced with others like prayer, Bible reading, and spiritual disciplines. This relegates the core of the Gospel to a bin of “basics we’ve already covered.” In this short video clip, I tackle these mixed messages and explain how we can showcase God’s grace as the only doorway to true spiritual growth!
