SCRIPTURE
John 16:13 ESV When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.

NUGGET
Have you noticed how the enemy takes a good thing and twists it slightly? He doesn’t come after you with obvious, horrible things. His motto is “truth with a twist.” When you encounter a good thing and perhaps a God-thing, always check in with the Word of God and the Holy Spirit. The best way to recognize a twist is to know the truth. Become so saturated with the truth that you can immediately sniff out the twist!

ACTIVATION
When something doesn’t sit quite right, dive into the Scriptures, and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you. Pay attention to Holy Spirit’s nudges and impressions because He is the Spirit of Truth. He will be the One to counsel you away from the twists and distortions of the enemy.

PRAYER
Holy Spirit, awaken my senses to Your promptings. Release Your wisdom over my heart and mind. Reveal any twisted truths or lies I have been believing, and lead me into Your perfect truth. In Jesus name, Amen.
