SCRIPTURE
Joshua 1:5 NLT No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you.

NUGGET
Uncertainty + No God = Fear. Uncertainty + God = Adventure. Someone was recently sharing about some upcoming changes in their job and the uncertainty of their circumstances. As I was praying for them, the Lord dropped this nugget into my spirit. Truly, when uncertainty is partnered with trust in God, life becomes an adventure! What if instead of dreading or fearing the future, we could think of it as an adventure with God? He promises to never leave us or forsake us. So we can be confident that no matter where we go or what we face, He is right there with us. And that turns trepidation into trust; alarm into adventure!

ACTIVATION
What uncertainties in your life are provoking fear or alarm? Write those down. Then imagine each one of your circumstances locking arms with God. Lean into God's character, and begin to imagine the good adventures He's planning to go on with you.

PRAYER
Papa, You are a God of adventure. You love to delight and surprise me with extraordinary experiences. I let go of fear, and release the word "adventure" over our relationship.
