SCRIPTURE
Revelation 4:8 NLT Each of these living beings had six wings, and their wings were covered all over with eyes, inside and out. Day after day and night after night they keep on saying, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty— the one who always was, who is, and who is still to come.”

NUGGET
Where do we start when we worship God? How can our efforts look more like heaven and less like the stuff of earth? This verse in Revelation is such a beautiful peek into the throne room and offers us a simple yet powerful way to come before the King of Kings! Start with His holiness. If heaven sings the same song over and over and STILL never grows tired of these words, then there must be something to focusing our attention on Him and declaring His holiness!

ACTIVATION
As you go about your week, intentionally take time to focus on the holiness of God. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal more about God’s holiness to you through His word as you worship Him.

PRAYER
God You are holy! There is no one else like You in all the earth…You are high and lifted up and all together set apart! Thank You for the honor of worshiping Your name and the privilege of lifting You up!
