Known and Loved

SNAP

May 24, 2022 • Leah Paschall • Psalm 139:1–5

SCRIPTURE
Psalm 139:1-5 NIV You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely. You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me.

NUGGET
God is always thinking about you. He knows you better than anyone. He loves you beyond measure and planned for you all along. When rejection, shame, guilt or self-hatred knock on our door, tell them to take a hike. You are loved. Deeply. Tenderly. Forever.

ACTIVATION
Give yourself permission to hold your head up high. You are a child of the King.

PRAYER
Father, thank You for knowing me, for loving me and for always being with me. I declare today that guilt and shame won't define how I see myself because You see me as "holy and dearly loved." (Col. 3:12)
