The Valley of Doubt

SNAP

April 11, 2022 • Leah Paschall • Isaiah 58:11

SCRIPTURE
Isaiah 58:11 NLT The Lord will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring.

NUGGET
Doubts linger and overshadow when we’re in the valley. We can’t see exactly how things are going to work out. But we can still have faith in God even in the face of doubt. The opposite of faith is unbelief, not doubt. So don’t be afraid to bring your doubts to Him. God not only wants to walk with you through the valley, He wants to WORK with you, too, so that you come out of it stronger and more rooted in Him.

ACTiVATION
In your journal, write down the things you know to be true about God and His character, about His love and provision for you. Read Romans 8:28, Ephesians 3:20 and Psalm 143. Ask Him to help you stand on the promises He’s given you.

PRAYER
Father, thank You for not leaving me in the valley of my doubt. Thank you for walking with me and working with me to not only see me through but to restore me and make me stronger in You. Thank you for loving me so well.
