SCRIPTURE
2 Timothy 3:16-17 ESV All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

NUGGET
When you listen to someone, you value their thoughts, ideas, and heart. It’s pretty hard to value them if you continually ignore or discount what they say. God is a talker! He gave us His Word so we can know Him intimately. How well are you listening? Scripture isn’t the easiest read, I’ll give you that. But this sacred text carries the words, ideas, and thoughts of the Creator of the Universe. In combination with the Holy Spirit, the Bible is God’s most significant communication tool. Dig in! Ask the Holy Spirit to open up His Word to you…because listening is an act of love.

ACTIVATION
How well are you listening? In what ways can you upgrade your loving through listening? Remember to invite the Holy Spirit to guide you. Approach the Word for connection and intimacy, not just information.

PRAYER
Holy Spirit, I want to hear Your voice. Open up Your Word to me, and guide me into all truth. Increase our connection and intimacy. Show me Your heart, and give me a love that deepens over time. In Jesus name, Amen.
