SCRIPTURE
Psalms‬ ‭23:3‬ ‭NLT He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name.

NUGGET
Have you ever felt like you’re in a season of aimless wandering? No straight line, no way out…maybe God has just forgotten you there…or worse, He’s not really that concerned that you’re there at all? When I embarked on writing the song “MIDDLE”, my co-writers and I wrestled with the best place to land. After all, grief and processing aren’t really linear things...there are ebbs, flows and moments that can feel like progress has stalled out. “Is God even doing anything?” we may ask ourselves . So when my friend Jason threw out the idea of "God leading even in the midst of sadness", it took me by surprise. I realized I hadn’t stopped to consider, that as much as God had been WITH me in the mess, He had also led me in the middle of it too. Even if I couldn’t see the next step or imagine how I was going to take it. He was still the good shepherd and I could trust that as I took His hand, He’d know where to take me. The same is true for you...even in the middle.

ACTIVATION
Take some time to thank God for the way He is leading you…even if you feel like you’ve been stuck in the same place for a while now. Choose to rest and trust in the Good Shepherd's hand today!

PRAYER
Good Shepherd, thank you that your compassions haven’t failed…even in the midst of what I’m walking through today! Help me to rest in your faithfulness. You are trustworthy.
