SCRIPTURE
Isaiah 41:10 NASB Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

NUGGET
What I love about this verse is that God says He will uphold us with His righteous right hand. Not ours. We don't have to fear because we can come before a holy God washed pure by the blood of Jesus. Our righteousness isn't upheld by any good work we do and it's not brought down low by any mistake we've made. We have right-standing with Him no matter what!

ACTIVATION
Write in your journal today and ask these two questions:
Are there any ways I've been trying to earn my freedom in Christ, or even "pay Him back"?
Do I tend to condemn myself when I make a mistake?

PRAYER
Father, thank You for the righteousness You've given me through Christ Jesus. Help me to let go of the idea that I somehow have to earn Your love or attention. Or that I can never be worthy of it because of my failures and faults. I thank You that I can come to You just as I am.
