Thousands of years of telling and retelling the Christmas story have not diminished this message of hope that sprung eternal on the first Christmas. The Isaiah prophesies of the coming of Christ and who he would become to this world. We store these words in our hearts as a full picture of God’s majesty, strength, and love for His people. And two thousand years later, we still rejoice in our Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. In every name that “He shall be called”, we see Jesus.
