Rejecting a Biblical Worldview: Part 2 - Costly to the Culture and Freedom

November 8, 2020 • Sam Rohrer, Isaac Crockett

Sam Rohrer and Isaac Crockett are joined by guest George Barna (Researcher, Speaker, Founder - The Barna Group) to discuss this important topic by going to the heart of the cause and defining the solution.

In a recent survey researcher George Barna said, “2020 shows a rapid erosion of a Biblical Worldview in American culture with only 6% of adults possessing a Biblical Worldview down 50% since the mid-1990’s. This cultural shift is nowhere more dramatic than among the youngest American adults, ages 18-36. The findings show a generation radically different in its worldview and beliefs from previous generations.”

This dramatic change in worldview (now held by a majority of people embracing an anti-Biblical Worldview) is corrupting the culture, hardening the hearts of people, and coarsening society. The impacts range from redefining such fundamental societal values as the view of the sacredness of life, respect for other people, the level of engagement in the culture and society by Christians, and much more.

Every nation has a prevailing worldview. In America we were founded on a Biblical Worldview (A Judeo-Christian Worldview). In America we have moved from a Biblical Worldview with a dire result of neutering the main preserving mission of the Church to declare the truth, live the truth, and to point people to Jesus Christ. The result of a silenced church and a silenced Christianity is costly to the culture.

Blessed is the Man

April 7, 2024 • Sam Rohrer, Isaac Crockett

Psalm 1 is the introductory Psalm to the other 149, the gateway to the entire Psalms.  It is powerful citing two paths in life. One that produces blessedness and life. The other death.  Psalm 1 is for all people of all ages. It speaks to us today.  It identifies what the blessed men does and doesn’t do. It identifies what the blessed man will be like and by application how we can be like the blessed man.  Also, it identifies what the ungodly or evil man is not. It concludes by saying that the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish. Stay tuned as Sam and Isaac consider the important theme, “Blessed is the Man - Psalm 1”.

God’s Word & The Skeptic’s Questions

March 31, 2024 • Sam Rohrer, Isaac Crockett, Guest: Bryan Osborne

Sam Rohrer and Isaac Crockett are joined by guest Bryan Osborne (Answers in Genesis) to discuss this important topic by going to the heart of the cause and defining the solution.\ Ever wonder how old the earth actually is? Is it thousands of years old or hundreds of millions of years old? Ever wonder when Genesis talks about a day if that day is a 24-hour day or a 24-million-year day. Does it make any real difference?  Asking questions is a practice the Lord Jesus did routinely in response to His skeptics with the purpose of exposing their sinister unbelief yet always leading them to the truth. Jesus loved to also answer legitimate questions as posed by His disciples.  In the appropriate fashion and for the right reasons we’ll pose some questions. Not to question God though doubt, but to ask questions to better understand what God has done, said, and who He is.  Join us as we continue to look at the topic “God’s Word & The Skeptic’s Questions”. We hope you’ll find the program challenging and informative.
