Last week, Netflix viewers across the nation were outraged at the release of a French made film called “Cuties”. The reason for the outrage? The overt sexualization of 11-12 year old girls in an attempt to highlight the struggles preteens face to find their identity amid contrasting cultures. In this case, the contrasting cultures being fundamental Islam versus the loose morality of secularism.

It seems her artistic license in this instance got film director, Maïmouna Doucourén in hot water. However, the truth is that women and girls throughout the pages of history have suffered at the hands of those who see them only as a means of self-gratification and lust. Predictably, Hollywood and the mainstream media fail to see the real issue-and that is an entire sex industry that preys on children, teens, and adults alike resulting in ruined lives, addiction, violence, and suicide.

And then there’s perhaps, the most diabolical of all crimes against women and children-the abortion industry which kills more baby girls worldwide and takes its toll on the emotional, physical, and spiritual lives of those who participate.

On this program, the President of Concerned Women for America, Penny Nance and her colleague, Doreen Denny address some of the cultural issues that affect women like the Equality Act, gender identity issues, abortion and more.
