On October 4, 1997, it was estimated over a million men assembled on the National Mall in Washington, DC to attend a conference titled: Stand in the Gap: A Sacred Assembly of Men.
Even if you weren’t in attendance at that gathering, the Promise Keepers movement became well known and was mightily used of God both nationally and internationally to evangelize and disciple men in their role as singles, husbands and fathers.
On this program, Ken Harrison, board member and chairman of the newly relaunched Promise Keeper movement will share more about the new leadership, but with the same vision, Promise Keepers is praying for a “massive revival and transformation” among men in a culture that has rejected the biblical role of manhood and is openly attacking masculinity and its value in an overtly feminine, self-absorbed, secular society.
