Healthcare Freedom Update

July 28, 2019 • Sam Rohrer, Gary Dull, Dave Kistler, Twila Brase

Did you know that the HIPAA forms you usually sign at the doctor’s office don’t protect your privacy at all? In fact, it’s just the opposite. What you’re signing is your consent that you’ve been notified of the hospital or clinic’s privacy guidelines-a form you usually don’t take the time to read. In all actuality, the HIPAA laws are permissive, giving 2.2 million entities, plus government access to your medical records without your consent.

Twila Brase, President and Founder of Citizen's Council for Health Freedom, is going to give us a healthcare freedom update from the perspective of an organization who’s dedicated to “protecting health care choices, individualized patient care and medical and genetic privacy rights.”

Healthcare is at the top of the list when it comes to debatable issues in the 2020 Presidential election, and while it seems there are few answers to this dilemma we find ourselves in, this program will point you in the right direction and offer some real solutions and alternatives for us to pursue and inform our legislators and healthcare practitioners about.
