In the garden of Eden, the Bible tells us Eve was deceived by Satan into eating the fruit God had forbidden. Though she lived in a virtual Paradise with her companion, Adam, it didn’t take but a few sly twists of words from the mouth of a snake to convince her God was withholding something that would add to her happiness.
While we don’t know what went through the minds of Adam and Eve as they sent the human race hurtling towards death-we do know Satan’s devious ways corrupted the beautiful garden and God, in His Sovereignty, would make a new way to restore the relationship with His creation through the gift of His Son.
But Eve wasn’t the only one easily deceived by Satan. As the Father of Lies, Satan knows words are powerful. He used them in the Garden of Eden and has been using them ever since to tempt and seduce mankind to rebel against God and His ways.
During this program, we'll hear an interview with Dr. Marlene McMillan, someone who’s studied words and their meanings extensively, who'll teach us how to identify the surreptitious lies of "political correctness" and defeat them with the truth.
