Words matter but so do definitions. Especially in today’s hyper charged, politically correct culture. Words and phrases that meant one thing ten years ago, have been hijacked to mean something else altogether. With tensions running high over the tragic death of George Floyd on May 25 , what seems to be a simple redefinition of terms is actually proving to be quite deadly.

Dr. Joe Green joins joins the discussion about real issues plaguing the black community, tracing the problem and the solution back to where it belongs and separating the term racism from bigotry and prejudice.

Yes, racism is as old as time. The enslavement of people groups beginning in the some of the world’s earliest civilizations-Persia, Greece, Rome and even on the African continent with blacks enslaving blacks at an alarming rate due to tribal conflict. It only goes to show that the heart is desperately wicked-as the Bible tells us. Bent on elevating self and mistreating others, racism is a heart issue that can only be solved by the gospel and the acknowledgement of the Creator God who has made us equally loved and valued in His sight.
