The Deceit of Political Correctness - Beyond the Dialectic: The Empowerment of Words - Part 2

January 3, 2021 • Sam Rohrer, Isaac Crockett

Sam Rohrer and Isaac Crockett are joined by guest Dr. Marlene McMillan (Author, Speaker) to discuss this important topic by going to the heart of the cause and defining the solution.

It is our goal on Stand in the Gap TV to choose what we call transcendent cultural issues. Those issues of controversy which have been with us for a long time, will be with us a long time, and for which there seems to be no answers. We believe that all issues are addressed in the Word of God and that our challenge is not seeking some heretofore unknown diagnosis and solution but understanding that there is nothing new under the sun. We find the Biblical principles and commands and apply them to the matter at hand. Of this we are confident.

That being said, our theme for this program and the last is one of those transcendent issues since it deals with truth, deception, ideas, words, and the processes deceivers use to manipulate the truth. To move people in their thinking from a Biblical worldview of truth and freedom to actually embrace the total opposite.

In this program we’ll provide another illustration of an altered definition of a word important to Christians in particular and that is the word ‘Compassion’. Then we’ll conclude by providing practical solutions that focus on the principles of talking and thinking.

Join us as we continue to look at the topic “The Deceit of Political Correctness - Beyond the Dialectic: The Empowerment of Words”. We hope you’ll find the program challenging and informative.

2024 Health Freedom Trends

February 25, 2024 • Sam Rohrer, Isaac Crockett, Guest: Twila Brase

Sam Rohrer and Isaac Crockett are joined by guest Twila Brase (President and Co-Founder of Citizen’s Council for Health Freedom) to discuss this important topic by going to the heart of the cause and defining the solution. When it comes to all matters of life and particularly the admonition of Proverbs 22:3 of the wise man looking ahead, seeing danger, and taking corrective action it certainly applies to the area of health and health freedom.  For some people the idea of preparing for potential danger or being proactive in regard to looming danger is foreign. For many they don’t know how to do it. For others it is uncomfortable. Yet for others some think that if they think and act in regard to potentially advancing danger that they will be accused of being conspiratorialists, negative, or perhaps even guilty of walking by sight and not by faith.  But the Bible is clear. Wisdom is clear. To be alert, aware, or proactive is not foolish but wise.  Join us as we continue to look at the topic “2024 Health Freedom Trends: Vigilance Required”. We hope you’ll find the program challenging and informative.

Sam Rohrer and Isaac Crockett are joined by guest Twila Brase (President and Co-Founder of Citizen’s Council for Health Freedom) to discuss this important topic by going to the heart of the cause and defining the solution. As in all areas of our lives it is appropriate and wise to look ahead and contemplate what is happening and may happen in the year ahead.  Proverbs 22:3 says, “The prudent sees danger and hides himself, but the simple go on and suffer for it.”  The wise look ahead. The prudent considers as best he can what’s coming and makes adjustments accordingly. The foolish, simple, and ignorant just plunge ahead and suffer the consequences.  Join us as we look at the topic “2024 Health Freedom Trends: Vigilance Required”. New Beginnings

January 7, 2024 • Sam Rohrer, Isaac Crockett

Whether we start a new day, week, month, or year each one offers all people an opportunity to evaluate the day, week, month, or year just completed. With that opportunity is a chance to start again if we’ve failed. Adjust what we’ve accomplished. Make changes to accomplish more and consider our priorities and choices. By the grace of God we can glorify Him better.  This opportunity to begin again is a blessing of God and we should view it as such. But far too often we don’t think Biblically so we deprive ourselves of many of God’s blessings.  The more we consider God’s love, mercies, and faithfulness to be new every morning. The better we’ll understand the character and nature of God and the more completely we’ll understand the power of new beginnings.  Join us as Sam and Isaac continue to look at the topic, “New Beginnings”.
