Monday, April 19, 2021 - Train Up a Child Series: How to Train Up a Child

April 19, 2021

Transcript: Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” Well, how do we train up our children in today’s culture? Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer with another Stand in the Gap Minute. The biblical model given to Israel in Deuteronomy 6 is for fathers to take the primary responsibility for the provision of a God-fearing education for their children. We are to teach by example, words, and actions so that our children will know who God is and what He has done. There is a strong correlation between fearing and obey God, and expecting blessing, prosperity, and security in the future. Education is not primarily the job of a school or even the church. It is the responsibility of the parents. Your involvement in your child’s education is your single greatest duty given to you by God. Discover more at American Pastors Network dot net.

May 17, 2021

Transcript: Do you know what it means to love? Many people say they love God, but don’t do what God says or know what God loves. It’s time we understand. Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer with the American Pastors Network and another Stand in the Gap Minute. In I John 4:8, the Bible says that God is love. This kind of love is unique. It’s agape love. The type of self-sacrificing love that’s demonstrated by God Himself who loved the world so much He sent His only Son -Jesus Christ – to die for our sins as a perfect sacrifice – demonstrating that God is truly the standard setter for true love. Loving God and others with this kind of love is only possible after personally experiencing God’s love by trusting in Jesus Christ. Can you truly love God? Have you experienced God’s love through Jesus Christ? Join with us at Stand in the gap radio and tv in understanding where loving God and others really starts. Friday, May 14, 2021 - Biblical Principles of Marriage: A Perfect Picture

May 14, 2021

Transcript: This week, I’ve identified thus far 4 biblical principles for the defense of God’s design for marriage. Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer with the American Pastors Network, and another Stand in the Gap Minute. At APN we emphasize the authority of Scripture for deciding all areas of life and living beginning with marriage and urge pastors and parents to live it and defend it. The 5th biblical principle defending marriage is God’s declaration in Ephesians 5 that physical marriage between one man and one woman is holy and pictures the spiritual relationship between Christ and the Church. God’s plan of Redemption through Jesus Christ to the Church is the picture of true love and unity between God and man and why all efforts to redefine God’s design is a direct attack on God Himself, His Plan of Redemption, and Jesus Christ. Will you join us at Stand in the Gap Radio and TV in illustrating Christ’s love for the Church in our marriages and families. Stand with us at American Pastors Network dot net

Thursday, May 13, 2021 - Biblical Principles of Marriage: Keep it Holy

May 13, 2021

Transcript: Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer with the American Pastors Network and another timely Stand in the Gap Minute This week, I’m sharing 5 biblical principles for the defense of God’s design for marriage. First, marriage is God’s idea. Second, it’s the hinge-pin of the family – the cornerstone of authority in society. Third, marriage is between only one man and one woman. The 4th principle is that to preserve the integrity of marriage and the family, it must be kept holy. No violation or variation of marriage or human sexuality other than within the bounds of marriage between one man and one woman is acceptable without bringing predictable consequences to individuals, communities and nations. Heterosexual infidelity, sex outside marriage, homosexuality, or marriage between multiple men or woman all violate God’s order. Will you join with us at Stand in the Gap Radio and TV and embrace, defend, and live out God’s plan for marriage of one man and one woman?
