Throughout history war is the ultimate destroyer of life and property. In Matthew 24 Jesus says that the latter years (the times in which we live) will be marked by an increase in wars and rumors of wars. In Ezekiel 38 – 39 the Bible prophesies a group of nations including Turkey, Russia, Iran, Libya, Sudan, and other nations which come down against Israel to do battle or war motivated by a desire to take the wealth of Israel.

On Oct. 7, 2023 the world changed forever. With the strategically planned and demonic Hamas terror attack against Israeli citizens. Babies were beheaded, girls and woman were raped, and soldiers were executed. Over 1,400 people were murdered.

With this horrendous event the world has been set adrift moving steadily towards a world at war.

How can people (and particularly Christians) interpret what’s now unfolding, understand why it’s happening, and predict where the world is headed next?
