God Is Series: God Is King

February 19, 2025

Transcript: As Americans, we value the opportunity to choose our leaders through the power of our vote. We don’t like the idea of being led by a king. What does it mean for us today that God is king? The answer is more powerful than you may think. Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer with another Stand in the Gap Minute. Psalm 47:7 declares, “For God is the King of all the earth.” Why was this important? A king was the leader of the nation. By referring to God as king, it acknowledge Him as supreme over all kings. The verse adds the response as well: “sing praises with a psalm!” When we recognize God as Supreme and king of all kings, including every aspect of our lives, our proper response should to ask of we honor Him with our words and our lives. If God is king – and He is– then let’s live lives devoted in service and worship to Him. Discover more encouraging resources at American Pastors Network dot net.
